Challenge encourages estate agent to take on apprentice

Leicester estate agent Pardeep Sudera, from Leo Properties, in St Saviours Road, is hoping to take on an apprentice after reading about the challenge online.

He says he can offer the skills necessary for a business administration apprentice, who will learn the skills of the trade on the job.

“It’s a great way of getting some help for the business and giving something back in return,” he said.

“Young people especially need help getting on the career ladder and, if we can provide that, we will.

“They will be dealing with clients on a day to day basis so will need to be quite confident and able to converse with all sorts of people.

“IT skills are also preferred, as well as someone who likes to be organised. It’s really about people skills, so for those who don’t like being in the classroom too much it could be ideal.”
