Leicester College learners to showcase works at Highcross
Highcross Leicester has enlisted the help of Leicester College learners who are currently studying on the Foundation Degree in Graphics and E-media to liven up areas of the Highcross centre.
Leicester College learners have been given the opportunity to design and produce graphics based upon a representation of the partnership between Leicester College, Highcross and Groundworks.
Nick Ruhl, Programme Leader at Leicester College said “We are really excited to be working with Highcross and Groundworks. The opportunity to design graphics for such organisations really impresses the learners and they have already produced some amazing concepts. It is exciting to know that this may be the start of many projects that Leicester College, Highcross and Groundworks will be working on in collaboration.”
Jo Tallack, general manager at Highcross, said: “We have been working with Groundworks for a number of years now, and the partnership we have created with Leicester College will serve to not only highlight the work that the organisation promotes but also give the students on the Graphics and e-Media course an opportunity to display their works in a prominent location.
We’re really looking forward to seeing some of the concepts and designs that the students have come up with and displaying them in our 24-hour access corridors throughout the centre.”
