Open Day – 28 November 2013
Leicester College is hosting an Open Day in November.
On Thursday 28 November 2013 from 1pm to 8pm, visitors can view a range of demonstrations and workshops such as science experiments, cookery, baking, hairdressing, music and sound technology. There is a wide variety of vocational and academic courses on offer which can be studied either full or part-time.
The Open Day is designed for everyone – school-leavers, employers, people who are thinking about re-training and changing their career paths or those who simply want to develop a new hobby. Careers advisors will be on hand to offer advice and guidance to those who are not sure about what to study.
All three city centre campuses will be open and visitors will be able to take a tour of the extensive facilities and meet a wide-range of specialist staff. A courtesy bus service will ferry prospective learners from campus to campus free of charge.
College Principal Verity Hancock said: “Leicester College has a great reputation for offering courses that reflect the current and future trends of industry. Thousands of learners come to study with Leicester College each year. Our Open Day is a great way of finding out about the wide range of courses and careers that are available and what is the right path for you. Please come along and see what we have to offer.”
