Braunstone Open Learning Centre could be for you. Rather than a school or college, the Centre is a place you can come and go as you please. It’s essentially a walk-in centre where you can talk to one of our team about what you want to do in the future. The Open Learning Centre in Evington Road helps adults to improve their maths and English so that they can develop the skills they need to go on to other courses, get a job or just deal with maths and English in everyday life. The Frith Outreach Centre offers a person-centred curriculum to learners with profound and complex needs. There is an impressive range of facilities which enables participation in a range of subjects including Creative Studies, Art, Music Drama. Life Skills, Community Trips and Gardening.
The centre has developed its information learning technology to support communication and has an interactive sensory room. The staff team includes lecturers and Inclusion workers who ensure all learners receive a personalised approach to learning in a safe environment.

At St Stephen’s Road Outreach Centre, based in Highfields, everyone is made to feel part of the family by the enthusiastic and friendly staff.
The centre offers English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses, and it’s been such a hit, the premises were extended to cope with demand from local residents.
At the centre you can learn at your own pace, with plenty of one-to-one guidance, and a wide range of subjects and skills. Pop in and speak to one of the team, and they’ll be able to find something that suits you perfectly.
