Learners at Leicester College have many opportunities to make their voices heard and make a positive and confident contribution to the life of the College and the wider community.

  • College has won several Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) learner voice awards:
    • 2007: Student Liaison Officer of the Year
    • 2008: Leading Learner of the Year
    • 2009: Community and Social Cohesion
    • 2010: runner up Provider of the Year
    • 2011: Highly Commended: Senior Manager of the Year

In the 2012 Learner Survey the prompts relating to the Learner Voice received good scores with 83% agreeing that ‘I am asked for my views’ and 84% agreeing that ‘The College tries to improve things as a result of views.’
