This one day course is suitable for those who want to understanding the basic concept of sustainability and what it means on both a local and global scale. Furthermore, the programme looks at the sources of pollution and waste, and requirements to monitor, control and legislate.

3. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Application for products and services.
4. Embodied Energy. Materials and transformation of energy.
5. Waste hierarchy, control and recycling of materials and associated activities.
6. Legislation, guidance and compliance.
7. Water Conservation and pollution.
