Launch PadFeedback
Launch Pad gives learners the opportunity to develop the essential skills needed to move on to apprenticeship, voluntary work or further College courses. Total support is given to each learner, to help them build up their confidence. Learners are given help with maths, English and ICT.
Learners can gain a number of qualifications including:
- Entry level 3/ Level 1 qualification in Functional Skills (English, maths and ICT)
- Entry level 3 Certificate in Art
- Level 1 award in Catering
In addition there may be the opportunity to study for an:
- Award/Certificate in Motor Vehicle
- Award/Certificate in progression (includes law and order, team work, personal learning goals, personal study, living in the community, rights and responsibilities, world of work, health and safety, employability skills, equal opportunities, money management and enterprise projects).
There will be an opportunity to try out the following curriculum areas: Sport, Hair and Beauty, Catering, Construction, Business and Retail, Computing and Engineering.
