The overall approach of managers, coupled with their ability to support their staff, can make or break an organisation. As all businesses will be aware, recruitment is a costly exercise. By developing existing staff with leadership and management training, it is possible to recruit internally for more senior roles, saving costs and aiding the transition to management.
Leicester College offers a range of training opportunities to support new managers, supervisors and team leaders as well as training to help established management professionals to develop their skills and career further.
We offer Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) qualifications at various levels in both Team Leading and Management, which are suitable for existing and aspiring Managers.
There is also a range of short courses that develop specific skills including Appraisal and Training, Finance for Non-Financial Managers, Assertiveness and Delegation and Recruitment and Interview Techniques. These courses are delivered for groups of managers from individual organisations. We can also develop bespoke Management Training Programmes, which focus on the needs of individual organisations incorporating their own policies, procedures and documentation.
