Course Options:
The PTLLS, (the Award in preparing to teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector), is a mandatory unit for all routes and provides an introduction to Teaching and Learning.
The CTLLS, (the Certificate to teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector), provides ATLS status and is appropriate for those who are sessional staff or assessors who provide some training.
The DTLLS, (the Diploma in teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector), with City and Guilds or the PGCE / Cert Ed with the University of Bedford provides QTLS status and is appropriate for the full teaching role, both giving 120 credits.
