Leicester College supports £1,500 Apprenticeship Grants for Employers*

New apprenticeship grants of £1,500 have been provided to encourage employers to recruit 16 to 24 year olds to new apprenticeship positions.

Which employers can benefit from these Age Grants?

These grants are available to small and medium size employers (ie those employers with up to 250 employees).

When will these Age Grants be available?

The AGE 16 to 24 Grant is available now until March 2013 for employers who are able to offer a job opportunity to a young person. Funding will start from 1 April 2012.
Don’t miss this opportunity as there are only limited grants available.

How will employers receive the grant?

Employers will receive the grant in two payments – £750 at the 8 week stage of the Apprenticeship and a second £750 when the apprentice has completed 12 months of their Apprenticeship.

The payments will be administered by the National Apprenticeship Service through their approved training provider network (i.e Leicester College) who will manage the payments and paperwork.

To apply for an age grant is simple and straightforward.

Call Leicester College on 0116 224 2240 or email us and we will arrange for one of our Training Consultants to visit you.

Your vacancy will be advertised on the National Online Vacancy Database, which is a free service that will match all suitably qualified candidates interested in an Apprenticeship with all current live vacancies.
