However, the industries’ high staff turnover rates plus their reliance on staff aged under 26 often lead to employers experiencing difficulties recruiting employees with a higher level, diverse skills base.
We can help employers by offering training within the workplace enabling stylists and therapists to increase their skills whilst continuing to see clients and generate income.
The changing business practices within the UK floristry industry have increased the need for florists to keep their skills up-to-date with new products, services and trends.
As a Wella Centre of Excellence we have excellent in-house facilities where employees can develop and practise new skills. We also offer training in other business skills, including Customer Service, Marketing, Retail and IT in particular, which is invaluable in the modern business world and massively under-used in Hair and Beauty Therapy salons. In addition to floristry training employers may benefit from training to support employee skills with customer service, retail, management and Health and Safety.
