Become a qualified Florist, with the business skills needed to run your own floristry shop or learn how to put together professional displays for weddings, funerals and other events.

We offer a range of courses including a National Certificate in Floristry. It is a two-year course which covers the skills you need for employment and  equips you with the skills to produce professional designs from hand-ties and bouquets to weddings and floral tributes. The courses also include the basic skills required when running a floristry business.

The National Certificate in Floristry offers an Open College Network (OCN) qualification in flower arranging. This short course is designed to provide an insight into flower arranging for pleasure. You can study other subjects alongside, or undertake work experience, during these courses.

The College has its own shop, Flower Trends, at Freemen’s Park Campus where you can learn to make an impression in the workplace and experience dealing with the public.
