About Health and Social Care Courses

Prepare for careers in social work, nursing, welfare work and counselling. Health and Social Care offers courses from entry level to level 3, as well as specialist programmes such as Counselling, Community Mental Health and the learning disabilities award framework. Many courses include work placements providing opportunities for you to develop your practical skills.

If you are considering Nursing as a career, we have the Nursing and Midwifery course which has an excellent record of progress to Higher Education, as has the Access to Care programme.

If nursing is not for you then our other courses provide avenues into careers in the health services, social care or related professions and also for personal learning and enjoyment.
