Lisa Newton - Certificate in Cosmetic Make-up

After finishing her GCSEs, Lisa went on to take A levels. But she didn’t get on very well with them. As she has always been interested in make-up and wants a job in this area she enrolled at Leicester College to do the Certificate in Cosmetic Make-up.

Lisa wants to go on to work on a Beauty counter at a store and work in theatre or media make-up afterwards. She said: “Since starting this course, I’ve learnt about make-up, how to use products hygienically and how to interact with people whilst doing their make-up.”
