Bus Passes

Leicester College provides subsidised bus passes to all 16 to 18 year olds on a full-time course that live more than three miles from the campus at which they are based. The cost of the subsidised bus pass is £60 and offers a substantial saving against the County Council bus pass which costs £240 and the City bus pass, which costs £145.

For city-based applicants whose parent or guardian is receiving Income Support or Jobseeker's Allowance the £60 fee will be waived on production of a benefit letter no more than 40 days old.

Please note, this is the price for 2009/2010, there may be changes to the conditions for 2010/2011.

If you would like more information on the subsidised bus pass, call Student Services on 0116 224 2240.
