All overseas learners accepted on a course will be charged a deposit of £1,500, which is due when you accept the offer of a place. An unconditional offer of a place will be secured once this payment is received. The remainder of the fee is payable at enrolment. The balance can be paid in two equal instalments due in September and October. In exceptional circumstances the Vice Principal has the authority to agree to a different instalment plan. Fees for the 2010/2011 academic year are between £4,950 and £8,750 dependent on the course you choose. Course-related costs that you will also have to pay may include: Exam FeesThese vary depending on which course you are doing, but expect to pay about £100 per year. Registration FeesSome course will require you to register with external awarding bodies, expect to pay between £100 to £250. Books and StationeryYou may need to buy certain course-related books as well as general stationery such as pens. Tools and Protective ClothingThese may be needed for certain courses such as Engineering or Motor Vehicles. You will be given a full list of any items at enrolment. Visits to Course-Related ExhibitionsYou will be expected to pay all costs for these visits. Sometimes these visits are abroad and again you will be expected to meet all costs such as visas, accommodation and travel insurance. The offer of a place on a course is subject to the following:
