Vice Principal, Finance and Business Operations

David has worked in education since 1989 and has held appointments as Director of Finance in two FE colleges, Deputy Director of Finance at De Montfort University and as Acting Principal at Leicester South Fields College from April 1997 to December 1998. He held a number of appointments in finance in both public and private sector organisations prior to 1989.

David became an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 1984 and a Fellow in 1995 having studied for his professional examinations part-time at Leicester Polytechnic. He is also a graduate of the Open University gaining a BA, and was awarded a Certificate in Local History with Leicester University Institute of Lifelong Learning. His interests are his family, holidays, camping, walking, reading, DIY, ale, food and wine.
