You are entitled to a 10% discount when starting a second or subsequent "No Fee Reduction" course. What fees will I have to pay?You will be required to pay course fees when you enrol. There are two types: course and other. Course fees include exam registration fees, tuition fees, materials fees and residential fees. Other fees are any other costs, for example chef whites, required for the course. You will not be charged tuition fees if you are a home learner aged between 16 and 18 on 31 August 2010. Some of our courses do not qualify for a fee reduction and the full price must be paid. These are marked [No Fee Reduction]. Payment ConcessionsFor any courses not marked “No Fee Reduction” you may qualify for a fee reduction if you are in the following categories. Evidence of benefits is required. Other Fees may apply.
If paying by instalments you will need to provide proof of address and bank account details. Please see the top of this page for a 10% discount voucher applicable when starting a second or subsequent "No Fee Reduction" course. How do I pay?By cash, cheque, credit or debit card. You must pay when you enrol, so please bring one of these payment methods with you. How do I pay in instalments?If your course fees are over £150, you can pay in three equal monthly instalments. The first instalment must be paid at enrolment. The subsequent instalments may be paid by Direct Debit or post dated cheques. For more information please call 0116 224 2240. RefundsYou will automatically be refunded if we cancel your course. We will consider refunds for learners who choose to leave their course due to exceptional circumstances, subject to a £20 administration charge Overseas/International Learners or Asylum Seekers/RefugeesPlease call on +44 (0)116 224 4111 to discuss fees and costs, or enquire at our enrolment event. Help with the costIf you are experiencing financial hardship, the Leicester College Support Fund may be able to help. However, there is a requirement for you to make a contribution of the first £50 towards the cost of your course. All applications to the fund are considered on an individual basis.
