We are one of the largest Colleges in England and offer a wide variety of training and education from entry level to higher education qualifications. We have:
• 26,000 learners (ranging from our youngest learner aged 13 to our oldest, currently 91!).
• 1,600 staff.
• over 200 community venues.
• 3 campuses across the city.
• annual budget of £54 million.
• 42% of learners from ethnic minority groups.
• 5,200 16 to 18 year olds studying full-time.
• 40% of learners from disadvantaged backgrounds or living in areas of deprivation.
• 550 learners studying Higher Education programmes.
• 8,636 learners studying for either Skills for Life or ESOL qualifications.
We have:
• 700 Apprentices and Advanced Apprentices.
• provided training to over 4,000 local and national employers.
