Leah Northern - Uniformed Public Services BTEC National Diploma

Leah had wanted to join the Police for a while and decided to leave her job in catering to start the BTEC National Diploma Uniformed Public Services. She decided this course would give her an insight into working as a Police Officer and help her to confirm that she did want to go into the Police service.

Leah said: "I wanted to do this course to get a better job for myself, which will result in a better life for my son.

"The course has improved my fitness levels and stamina, and I'm more confident. I have been promoted at work due to this confidence.

"I hope to be in the Police service or training to get in after completing this course."
