Multi-faith ChaplaincyFeedback
Leicester College is based in one of the most diverse cities in the country, and we are proud to have staff and learners from a very wide range of backgrounds, values, cultures and religions coming to study with us.
What is the Multi-faith Chaplaincy Team?
While you are in College, a wide range of support services are available to help you to enjoy your course and other opportunities, and one of those is the Multi-faith Chaplaincy Team. Chaplains are from a range of backgrounds and work voluntarily to support learners and staff, and to help people celebrate and respect different values, beliefs and faith traditions.
How can the Multi-faith Chaplaincy Team support me?
The chaplains can come in and run enrichment sessions on faith or ethical issues for your course. They can also give you individual support if you have an issue that is affecting your life or your studying, that you want to discuss confidentially. This might include relationship or family problems, a bereavement, lack of self esteem or religious or cultural matters. You may also just want to have a chance to talk through big questions that are worrying you.
