Welfare AdviceFeedback

A team of dedicated Welfare Advisers are available on all of our campuses to offer free and impartial advice on a number of areas including benefits, finances, travel, living accommodation and other welfare issues. Welfare Advisers are on-hand five days a week, to help you access financial support and provide the correct advice.

We provide:

  • advice on how to access funding and eligibility criteria
  • help with managing finances
  • advice on the best ways of increasing income
  • help with accessing extra financial support if financial difficulty is experienced.

For Higher Education (HE) we can provide information about:

  • loans and grants
  • Access to Learning Fund
  • tuition fees
  • Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA)
  • Bursaries
  • financial support for part-time HE learners.
